The consultation process begins from the moment you call The Cosmetic Surgery Center at (216) 264-8100. During your initial phone call, you will speak to our front office staff regarding your cosmetic goals and needs. Using that information, we will set you up with an appointment that best fits your schedule. On your first visit to our office in Cleveland, Ohio, you will be greeted by our outgoing front office staff and welcomed as a valued patient. A packet will be provided with more information on your desired procedure, financing options, and our outpatient surgery center. Before going back to your consultation, we will have you fill out a health questionnaire so that Dr. Matt Goldschmidt and his staff may better assess you.
During your consultation, you will discuss your health history and breast augmentation goals in regard to size, profile, and shape. For some patients, Dr. Goldschmidt may recommend a breast lift along with implants. This is why it is important we see you for an in-person examination. You will not finalize your implants at this visit. If Dr. Goldschmidt determines you are a good candidate for breast augmentation, you will receive your personalized estimate (cost of surgery) at the end of the consultation.
Most patients schedule their surgery immediately following their consultation, but you can always call back or come into the office later on to schedule. Keep in mind that your estimate may only be valid for a certain amount of time. If you decide to schedule and your estimate has changed, you may have to come back to the office for a new one. When you schedule your surgery, your pre-surgical appointment (where Dr. Goldschmidt goes over your consent forms and instructions and the treatment plan is finalized) is also set up for two to three weeks before your procedure. The staff will make sure you are well informed about your procedure before leaving the office.
